Installation with the HomeWeb Installer

To install HomeWeb by downloading the HomeWeb installer, follow these steps:

1. Click the HomeWeb-Full-setup.zip or HomeWeb-Lite-setup.zip link to download the file to your machine.
2. Navigate to where you downloaded the file and double click the HomeWeb program icon on your machine to begin the Setup program.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions in the setup program. The program starts automatically the first time.

Manual Installation With the .zip File

To install HomeWeb by downloading the .zip file and installing manually, follow these steps:

1. Click the Core files only(HomeWeb.zip) link to download the .zip file to your machine.
2. Navigate to where you downloaded the file and double click the compressed file. Note: This step assumes you already have a recent version of WinZip installed, and that you know how to use it. If not, you can get WinZip and information about the program at www.winzip.com.
3. Extract the .zip file to a directory such as C:\Program Files\HomeWeb.
4. To start HomeWeb, navigate to the directory you extracted HomeWeb to and double click the HomeWeb.exe icon.

Uninstallation Instructions

• If the HomeWeb installer was used, simply go to Settings/Control Panel/Add Remove Programs and choose HomeWeb 1.1.
• If the zip file was used then simply remove the HomeWeb 1.1 directory where you installed.
  

If you download package 1 or 2, you need run setup file to install HomeWeb. If you download package 3, you just need decompress it. If you want to use the help locally, please copy HomeWeb.exe to your install directory. Or HomeWeb will use the online help.
